IPENZ runs a complaints resolution process that covers Chartered Professional Engineers, IPENZ members, and engineers on some other registers.

Our complaints process is designed to help engineers and the industry improve, censure where appropriate and give the public confidence and trust.

We resolve concerns by following a fair, transparent and proportional process. We focus on learning, quality improvement, and appropriate accountability.

We don’t take sides - we remain objective and make fair and balanced decisions.
