Auckland's GT Murray awards 2016
IPENZ Auckland Branch celebrated the bright, future minds of Engineering in the region with the Annual GT Murray Awards.
It was a close competitions between the six engineering schools in our region, with the Massey University student, Akshay Kumar accepting the top prize with his quad-copter urine patch detector and smart phone application.
The second and third place-getters were Cherry Chandha from Unitec and Scott Faulkner from AUT. Special mention to our three finalists: Mac Greenslade from the University of Auckland, Jaspreet Singh from Queen’s Academic Group, and Navinder Badwal from MIT.
