Important changes to Standards New Zealand from 1 March 2016

Standards New Zealand became part of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) from 1 March 2016 when the Standards and Accreditation Act 2015 came into force.

Standards New Zealand will be part of the Consumer Protection and Standards branch within MBIE located at 15 Stout Street, Wellington. The website address has changed to www.standards.govt.nz

Existing Standards New Zealand teams will continue to help develop, maintain, and provide access to standards; engaging with Standards New Zealand will largely remain unchanged.

Most services, resources, and products will continue to be available and this includes all IPENZ Membership offers.  If you are a current subscriber of an IPENZ Standards New Zealand offer (either the essentials catalogue or the full catalogue online libraries), your services will be available as before without change. New subscribers to these excellent value offers are welcomed.

If you subscribe to Standards New Zealand directly you are advised to contact them when you next decide to make a purchase – there may be some minor price changes.
