Practice Note: Constructability

Constructability is a project management technique for reviewing construction processes from start to finish during the pre-construction phase. This Practice Note sets out a method for carrying out constructability reviews. It discusses how constructability involves balancing the various project constraints, such as “buildability”, and environmental constraints, such as sustainability, to help complete project goals and improve building performance.
