SENZ Representatives

University of Auckland

Michael Xiong

Michael Xiong is in his fourth year at The University of Auckland and studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons). He's specialising in Civil and Environmental engineering.

Michael believes SENZ provides an important bridge between the student body and the professional industry. His goal is to help all engineering students understand the values, relationships and differences between the two.

Unitec ​

Shannon Wallis

This is Shannon’s second year as SENZ representative for Unitec. She's currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Engineering Technology.

As a SENZ representative, Shannon has had the opportunity to connect the student body to the industry. She'd like to continue to show students what opportunities are available to them by joining IPENZ.

William Rawlinson

William is studying for a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

He took on this role to help connect students with the professional engineering community of IPENZ. William highly recommends all engineering students become Student Members of IPENZ as it provides a wealth of knowledge and opportunities.

He looks forward to greater involvement with students in the coming year.

Nikhil Chand

Nikhil is studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering Technology majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He understands the important role SENZ plays in bringing student engineers and the engineering profession closer together. His aim is to make this as seamless as possible.

Nikhil would like to encourage all engineering students to become Student Members of IPENZ so they can enjoy all the benefits membership offers.
