Women in Engineering: An Update on Progress in 2013
In 2011, we launched our programme to support and encourage women to enter, remain and advance in the engineering profession. In 2013, we published a progress report, summarising what we’ve done to promote gender diversity in engineering. We researched the barriers women face in the profession. We established the business case for diversity. And we audited our own policies and practices, to make sure we’re practising what we promote. In 2013, we made plans for the next phase of the project – this document outlined our next steps.
