Practice Note: Peer Review

Peer review is a methodology that allows specific engineering activities, such as design, to be verified to the engineering and wider communities. This guidance introduces the different types of review that engineers might seek or be asked to carry out. It also discusses the credentials that an engineer must have in order to qualify as a peer reviewer, as well as presenting the important ethical and contractual obligations of the peer review process.
