Guidelines: Construction Monitoring Services

Construction monitoring is an independent verification provided by an engineer to a client. It confirms certain aspects of building work have been completed according to the building consent and any amendments to it. Engineers are required to recommend the most appropriate level for the work and then carry out the agreed monitoring levels. These guidelines describe the range of levels of construction monitoring and methodology that engineers should adopt to select the level required.
