Practice Note: Design for Safety in Buildings and Other Structures
This Practice Note advises designers of all building disciplines about their own, and others, responsibilities when designing for safety. Owners and clients, project managers and regulators will also find this relevant. This document is intended to be a guide to demonstrating compliance with a designer's responsibilities under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
Withdrawn April 2016 – this Practice Note is no longer applicable due to the new Health and Safety Act.
