Speaker: Malcolm Buchanan

Malcolm Buchanan is the Senior Electrical Engineer at Silver Ferns Farms. He’s been involved in all aspects of electrical engineering in the food industry ranging from power distribution through to IT interface. His main focus is on automation systems from services through to production systems. Malcolm holds a BE from the University of Canterbury.

Speaker: Martin Peat

Martin Peat was the 2016 Young Engineer of the Year and currently works at Beca, leading the pedestrian analytics team. He made a significant contribution at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, where he was embedded in the Olympic organising committee for 18 months while living in Brazil. Martin holds a BE and ME from the University of Auckland.
