International Engineering Technologist (IntET(NZ))
We operate the New Zealand section of the International Engineering Technologist Register (IntET(NZ)), established under the International Engineering Technologists Agreement
How to become an International Engineering Technologist
You need to demonstrate current competence against the standard for engineering technologists and meet additional qualification and work-experience requirements:
- Hold a Sydney Accord-accredited qualification
- Two years in responsible charge of engineering work
- Seven years post-graduation engineering experience.
You need to pay an annual registration fee and demonstrate you still meet the standard for an Engineering Technologist. This will happen at least every six years – your most recent assessment will determine how long until your next one.
