Study Scholarships

The IPENZ Foundation encourages school leavers to study for qualifications in engineering and technology by offering annual scholarships to first-year students to help with their university costs.

Applications for the 2018 academic year will open in August 2017.

In 2017 the IPENZ Foundation offered:

  • Up to five national scholarships at $4000 each
  • Up to eight regional scholarships at $4000 each

    Students in year 12 or 13 who will be studying the following IPENZ-accredited degrees next year are eligible to apply:

  • Three-year Bachelor of Engineering Technology – BEngTech
  • Four-year Bachelor of Engineering – BE or BE (Hons)
