Fellowship allows the engineering profession to recognise its leaders. Fellowship is something for Members to aspire to.

Becoming a Fellow means you’ve made it to the top of the engineering profession. Fellowship sets a high bar.

Fellowship is open to all types of IPENZ engineers. If your work is recognised as outstanding in your field, we encourage you to apply.

A Fellow can use the letters FIPENZ after their name.

The application process for Fellowship is open and transparent. Its criteria recognise diversity within the profession and provide a basis for consistent moderation of applications.

Applicants for Fellowship need to demonstrate that they meet the criteria to the high level expected of a Fellow and that they have the expected depth of experience.

Only Members can apply for Fellowship. Read the Fellowship guidelines.

Applications for 2017 Fellowships are open now, and close on 31 October 2016.
